About instructor

Steven aragon is the head instructor at 4th dimension Jiu Jitsu. Steven’s experience in Jiu Jitsu spans over fifteen years, having begun his journey under the tutelage of 6th degree black belt, Paulo guillobel . After enlisting in the Marine Corps, Steven was stationed in San Clemente , CA.


During his time in service, Steven was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to represent the Marine Corps as a member of Camp Pendleton’s Varsity Submission Grappling Team.

As a member of the team Steven trained under the head coach and Gracie Barra black belt, Gunnery Sergeant Corey Bennin.During his time on the team

Steven was fortunate enough to represent team USA in the pankration world championships in krakow Poland where he finished third place. After time in service Steven moved to Los Angeles and studied for a while in Santa Monica. After the birth of his son he moved to ms and there he started training under Royce Gracie black belt Travis Neagle and chance Sheppard at Gracie South Jiu jitsu and kickboxing. Steven achieved the rank of purple belt there and moved to Cleveland ms after completing his undergraduate degree at Belhaven university. In 2017 Steven founded Gracie south Cleveland and was fortunate to have brought Jiu jitsu to the ms delta. Eventually expanding to another city with Gracie south Grenada. In February of 2021 Steven grandmother fell Ill and Steven moved back to his hometown of Phoenix Arizona. Today he continues to train at his long time high school wrestling teammate and friend Jose Munoz at 12th street Jiu jitsu and mma. There he is fortunate enough to train with coach Jose and one of the best up and coming black belt competitors Adrian Nez.
